how does it work, can he not be sold if he dont wanna go, and is on a contract?

i believe joey loves this club....and in one sense i can understand him wanting the best deal for himself.......also i can see the clubs stance as well...

there has to be a happy medium here i think ...a bit of give and take on both sides to create an easy harmony type of thing...

i believe joey is committed and we all know hes not shy in telling it like it is,,,but i believe hes professional enough (NOW) to understand that hes at a big club, well run and he has put much of his past behind him..

the club also must accept that barton is a key figure (in my opinion) in how we progress next season...

id like it all to turn out amicable and he stays and we can basically get through the summer ....bringing players in rather than a player exodus, which i dont believe will happen of course...

I just hope there's a chance they'll give Joey and Kevin Nolan a new contract.Hope it will all turn out good 'cause it's like the situation with Steven Taylor a few months ago,he's staying now.Would be great to have Joey and Kevin staying,they're great players.

i think with what he has been saying on twitter he wont be given a new contract he will play out his contract and thats the last we will see of him. and ashley will get nothing in transfer fees.

Yeah not sure 'cause he said on Twitter he'll try his best to bring a trophie to St. James' next season,I really hope he won't be sold and I don't but maybe if he gets the chance to improve again and he does,he'll get a new contract offer.I hope so
