Newcastle and Liverpool chasing classy Ligue1 midfielder

Post  Guest on Mon Jun 06, 2011 2:36 pm

Both Newcastle and Liverpool have money to spend this summer as Kenny Dalglish and Alan Pardew both continue their rebuilding plans, and according to the Metro they are both tracking the Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz.

Dalglish is looking to add some class to his midfield to provide better service for the Liverpool strikers, while Pardew is scoring Europe for quality players to consolidate Newcastle’s place in the Premier League.

Boudebouz was very impressive for Algeria in last summers World Cup, and his continuing excellence in Ligue 1 has made him coveted by top French sides like Lyon and Marseille as well as Liverpool and Newcastle.

The 20 year-old has previously said that he would consider moving to England, and at an expected price of just £5m he could prove to be a solid investment for either team if he decides to make a move to the Premiership.
