Harry a hot tip for Blues gaffer job

Post  1892NUFF on Sat May 28, 2011 4:41 am

HARRY REDKNAPP'S odds on being the next Chelsea manager have tumbled dramatically after furious speculation that he would walk out of Tottenham.

Bookies yesterday cut the White Hart Lane chief's odds from 25-1 to a staggering evens favourite, with some reducing them further still to 4-7.

Many punters, one as far afield as South Africa, poured their cash on Redknapp - forcing bookies to take drastic action.

Redknapp has emerged as favourite to take the Chelsea job following the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti on Sunday.

One bookies spokesman said: "There is no smoke without fire and the weight of the gamble suggests something may be happening."

But, last night, Redknapp countered: "I know nothing at all about what has been going on."

one things for sure, i wouldnt bet against him getting the job cos one thing we all know is.......hes got no loyalty and his best friend is bundles of printed paper...

personally though, i dont think he would do any better than ancellotti, who i think has been treated like cr@p....

i mean , fair enough abramovich wants to win the champions league, but to win it , you need to have a full team unity , like man utd have and barcelona....

all redknapp would get a bunch of mercenaries and over priced as well...and he wouldnt give a monkeys about it , because he will be paid far too handsomely on a long contract...

all chelsea need , is a slight overhaul and i believe ancellotti would have been their best chance to win the champions league had he kept his job.......

abramovichs problem is...he always stick his neb in if he sees a player he likes out of the argos catalogue hahahaha
