Well, I've just read that and to be fair, I think it's wide of the mark by whoever wrote it.
We have added some quality players whilst at the moment, only let one player go (Nolan), discounting Campbell and Kuqi, so that should tell us something regardless of fans thinking we only buy on the cheap.
Paying 100 million on players of quality against paying 10 million guarantees you nothing until they prove themselves either way but I'd rather have players coming here who look quality but don't carry a heavy burden of a price tag and also a mammoth wage.
Let's be totally honest here, if we sign players for 15/20 million a time, it's a sure fire bet that most of them are here for the lolly and don't give a stuff about the club.
On the other hand, those players that we have signed, have obviously chose us because they want to play for us and I know which set of players I'd rather have.
