Robert Green Bid????? Empty Robert Green Bid?????

Post  Kenny Ashton Fri Aug 05, 2011 10:11 am

I have it on good authority from my contact at Puma that a bid for Robert Green as reported in many newspapers around the country today are infact true.
Not only will there be a bid, but Fraser Forster is also destined to be included in the bargaining.
A reported £1M + Forster is what we're offering.

Now I for one am not a huge fan of Green although his stats in the Premier League (Surprisingly Good By the Way) totally justifies why we would be linked with him but I feel we would be much better off with the keepers we already have.

Points of view from anyone is gladly received

Kenny Ashton

could be good move to have him on board as i don't think harper will last too long at the toon (possible age or maybe has had enough). We should loan out harper and Forster and have Krul and green as our first 2 keepers (if we bag green) as for who would be first choice i couldn't say
