SCUNTHORPE United's Carling Cup match with Newcastle United will be screened on Sky.

The broadcasting giant has picked it to be one of two matches in the second round to be shown live.

As a result, the match will take place on Thursday, August 25 and will kick-off at 7.45pm.

The Iron have this morning confirmed ticket details for the clash.

Seating tickets are priced at £19 adults, £12 senior and £5 junior, while prices for the terrace are £15, £10 and £5 respectively.

They go on sale to season ticket holders exclusively on Monday and Tuesday, at a rate of two per season ticket.

Iron Members then get a chance on Wednesday and Thursday, though only one ticket will be issued per membership.

Supporters with a ticket stub from United's League One match with Oldham Athletic on Tuesday will be able to buy one for the Newcastle match from Friday, before they go on general sale on Monday, August 22.
