Smith Heading To West Ham?

According to the Sunday Sun ... West Ham boss Sam Allardyce wants to take Toon vice captain Alan Smith to Upton Park. Allardyce was the Newcastle boss who spent £6million on Smith back in 2007, and he tried to take him to Blackburn on two separate occasions, only for Smith to knock back the move. But he may have more success this time as Smith looks to be heading away from Tyneside, as Alan Pardew tries to off-load the big earners who are not regulars in the side. Smith has just recovered from another major injury, and Pardew would be happy to let him leave, but his £60,000 per week wages would have to be slashed for him to join the Championship club.

i posted this earlier, he needs to go he is on high wages.

if he goes i will miss him feel sorry for all the injuries he has had. But with new arrivals due in, surely he wont get a chance in the first team so maybe west ham or any other team he would get it.

i cant see him getting another game for us.

neither can i mate i have been willing him to get that first goal for us but never happened unfortunetly
