Man City prepared to cover Bridge wages for Newcastle move

Manchester City are ready to sell Wayne Bridge to Newcastle United.
The Sunday Mirror says City will pay part of Wayne Bridge’s £4million-a-year wages to let him go on a season-long loan to Newcastle.
City will let the Magpies move for Bridge, 30, as they bid to tie up the £7m signing of left-back Gael Clichy from Arsenal.
Toon boss Alan Pardew wants the former England man as replacement for Jose Enrique, who wants to quit the club.
And City will pay part of Bridge’s wages should he go to St James’ Park.
