Bobby Moore's son found dead 2cf023bee724cbcf6150d58a2e70fda3

The son of England's World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore has been found dead aged 43.

Paramedics were unable to revive Dean Moore when called to his Notting Hill flat by concerned relatives.

Mr Moore ran a pub opposite Chelsea's Stamford bridge ground and is understood to have had a medical condition.

Police are treating the father-of-one's death as "unexplained" and are not looking for any suspects.

The Moore family said in a statement: "We are deeply shocked and distraught at the sudden passing of our beloved Dean.

"We will, along with many, many others, miss his warmth, kindness, generosity and most of all his wonderful sense of humour and big heart.

"We have lost a dear father, son, brother and uncle, and he will be sorely missed not just by us his family, but by all those whose lives he touched.

"We ask that, at this very difficult and painful time, our privacy be respected so that we can in some small way try to come to terms with our loss.

Bobby Moore captained England to World Cup glory in 1966 and enjoyed a long club career with West Ham and Fulham.

He died of bowel cancer in 1993, aged 51.
