NEWCASTLE can’t win their war with Joey Barton.
These are the reasons why. He is their best player and the fans love him.
He is under contract and is outfoxing owner Mike Ashley as every day passes. With every tweet, every comment, every interview, Barton is pouring embarrassment on Ashley and manager Alan Pardew.
Only Newcastle could get themselves in such a mess with just a week to go before the start of the Premier League season.
The self-destruct button must just be inside the main entrance at St James’s Park
