Newcastle midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has been voted the best player of the FA Cup third round.
The Frenchman received 43% of around 4,000 votes cast on TheFA.com to edge out Wrexham's Adrian Cieslewicz, Blackpool's Matt Phillips, Swindon's Matt Ritchie and Macclesfield's Arnaud Mendy.
Ben Arfa received the accolade following his performance in the 2-1 win against Blackburn, when his superb solo effort pulled his side level before Jonas Gutierrez's winner sent the Magpies into a fourth-round clash with Brighton on Saturday.
